Beyond Thank You
The Art and Science of Positive Reinforcement

The need for rewards and recognition are discussed in many issues of today's business and leadership magazines and at many leadership conferences around the globe.  Most, if not all, organizations include in their Quality Policy and Organization Values a statement about recognition of employees.  Most consultants include in their approach to leadership some provision for recognition of people.

However, these processes for recognition only scratch the surface of the potential that exists from the proper use of recognition and reinforcement within the organization.

Positive reinforcement (coupled with feedback) is the key that unlocks the discretionary effort within all of us and provides a real competitive advantage for the organization.  Far beyond just saying thank you, being nice to each other, or even catching people doing something right --- there is a systematic approach that is built around the effective use of goals, feedback, and reinforcement to accelerate performance improvement and sustain it at a high level.

This presentation will introduce you to this approach.
